Event Description

Kingston School of Dance will host its 3rd annual dance battle in October 2024. Over the course of the weekend, October 25th-26th-27th, dancers and dance enthusiasts can take part in dance workshops, artist discussions, and the main event - The K-town Showdown Dance Battle.

The Rep Your Style Battle invites dancers of all ages, styles and levels of training from Kingston and neighboring cities. Featuring a live DJ, EMCEE and FEATURED GUEST JUDGES, TYRELL BLACK, NEDGE "BLAK KAT" VALME, MALDITA SIRIANO.

The winner of the 2024 K-Town Showdown will walk away with a $350 Cash Prize!!

This event is supported by Kingston Arts Council and City of Kingston.

We welcome viewers of all ages to come experience this unique dance battle and get a taste of the Kingston dance scene.

The workshops in K-POP(Casually Cool Collective), Popping(Tyrell Black) Vogue & Waacking(Blak Kat + Maldita Siriano) for ages 10 & up.

K-Pop Dance Workshop: October 25th, 2024 - 5:45 PM to 6:45 PM

For ages 10+ | All levels | Promotional Partner Casually Cool Collective

Venue: KSD Studio A located at the Tett Centre 303-370 King St W Kingston ON K7L 2X4

Popping Dance Workshop: October 26th, 2024 - 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM

With Tyrell Black

For ages 10 + | All levels welcome

Venue: KSD Studio A located at the Tett Centre 303-370 King St W Kingston ON K7L 2X4

Dance Battle: October 26th 2024 - 6 PM Onwards

Participants must register by OCT 24th

Spectators of all ages are welcome

Vogue & Waacking Dance Workshop: October 27th - 11 AM to 2 PM
