Chris Longshanks is BLOKE. Reinterpreting dance music through experimentation, BLOKE attributes the main inspiration of his music to be his own life. This year, BLOKE released his ten-year project “Esquimalt Marketing Compendium,” all recorded locally in either Rock Bay or Esquimalt.

Local act Psychic Pollution produces minimalist, ambient electronic music. Psychic Pollution describes their art as "Psych heavy and Kraut in scope with sporadic kosmische sampling and dancefloor grooves that fit somewhere in the Berlin School of electronic music." Psychic Pollution's latest release is "OCD Soundsystem," signed under Eat Glass Records.
