Join us at The Copper Owl for part two of Misc Masc: Consent and
Pleasure. Communication is key to healthy relationships. However,
consent goes well beyond clarity, comfort, and care. Practicing
consent is the language of intimacy and pleasure, allowing us to
fulfill our desires and connect to authenticity and vulnerability.
Joining us will be guest speakers Tanille Geib (Healthy Humans), Geoff Plint, MA, RCC (Geoff Plint Counselling) and Musician Honte to help us get the conversation going.
Miscellaneous Masculinities is a group of community members who are dedicated to exploring healthy expressions of masculinity. The goal of these pub conversations is the opportunity to gather with other community members and engage in meaningful conversations about how masculinity impacts our ability to communicate intimacy in thoughtful and meaningful ways.
The event is open to people of all genders, backgrounds, experiences, and orientations who are interested in participating in a creative and critical discussion about masculinity.
Please note that this is a pro-feminist event and our expectation is
that patrons enter this space with thoughtful and respectful
intentions.
Tickets are $12 and can also be purchased at the door. We recognize the finances might be a barrier to attending. Please feel free to contact Nick ([email protected]) for sliding scale options.
