Bunny Hops (Alex Hopkins) is a Banff-based DJ and producer known for her genre-blending sets and magnetic energy behind the decks.
A devoted connoisseur of house and bass music, Bunny Hops builds each set with care and intention—whether it’s a high-energy après ski party or a late-night rave. Her sound weaves together elements of disco, funk, UKG, techno, breaks, and more, always tailored to the crowd and moment.
In addition to her performances, she’s a driving force in the Bow Valley electronic music scene. In 2024, she launched Open Decks Banff, a recurring community night spotlighting emerging talent. Her curated monthly series, With Intention, brings diverse electronic artists to Banff, building bridges between local and national scenes.
Her momentum is undeniable. In January 2025, she sold out her biggest headline show to date with 750 attendees. Just months later, her second single Feelings hit #11 on Beatport’s Breaks/Breakbeat/UK Bass chart and landed on several genre shortlists. Festival appearances include HeARTburn and The Downtown Defrost (2025), The Womp and Wicked Woods (2024), and Neon Jungle (2023), solidifying her reputation as one to watch.
