"I met Brian many years ago, I guess it was at Elmore's Bar & Grill jams, at the old Fernwood Inn. A kind, gentlemanly man, he was soft spoken but enthusiastic. He sat in and played well. He had played with them in Honey Bee and before that in Beat the Boulders. I never got to know him well but you couldn't help but like him, he just exuded positivity. The last time I saw him was at the John Fisher Memorial and he was exactly the same (only older)." Credit Dave Harris
"Brian was in our band Honey Bee and was such a pleasure to play with.
He was a solid drummer and helped keep me on track, as I tended to speed up. He was skilled at playing shuffles and 2/4s, but really, Brian could play any style and did so in the other bands that he was in.
Brian was a real gentleman, kind, helpful and supportive. He had a positive healthy philosophical outlook on life. ‘Treat people the way you want to be treated’ is how he lived his life. When he retired he drove taxis and limos and I imagine that he was the kindest , attentive driver. I never had the chance to catch a ride with him but I believe that it would have been a memorable experience.
Thank you for being part of my life Brian, for your gentle ways and kind words. You are missed. RIP" Credit Sharon Wadsworth
