Steven Heighton and the wonderful wizard of Wolfe Island Records

Episode 37:
Just a quick ferry ride from downtown Kingston is the magical—and somewhat mystifying— community of Wolfe Island, which has been a hive of cultural activity over the course of the COVID-19 pandemic. Johnny and Rob catch up with Wolfe Island Records co-founder and producer, Hugh Christopher Brown, and award-winning author and poet, Steven Heighton, on his debut album, The Devil's Share, and the resurrection of the Hotel on Wolfe Island as a prominent live music venue.

NOTE: A few months after this interview, recorded December 21, 2021, Steven Heighton sadly passed away, on April 19, 2022. In sharing this video, it is our intent to honour his life and his artistry.
