Kingston-based Indie folk band, The Kildeers are emerging as a Canadian band to watch — combining modern folk melodies that draw you in, lyrics that shake your heart and a connection that lasts long after they have left the stage.
To watch The Kildeers perform is to be captivated by their warmth, energy and engaging melodies. The Kingston-based Trio combines their love of traditional roots and folk music with modern arrangements to create songs that are both familiar and original, haunting yet hopeful. With the release of their debut album, Faster Than The Light, in May 2025, they craft rhythms that draw you in, lyrics that shake your heart and a connection that lingers long after they’ve left the stage. They have had the pleasure of performing as part of several local festivals and events, such as Downtown Kingston’s Saturday sessions and Loyalist’s Tunesday in the Park festival and continue to perform regularly in and around the Kingston area.
