at the Esquimalt Gorge Park and Pavilion (1070 Tillicum Road (https://goo.gl/maps/KgEhTUe3xy2mGDXX7)).

With increasing attendance the performances that were hosted in the upper level of the Pavilion have now been moved outside onto the field beside the Food Tent area. The Outdoor Performance Schedule is below. Full details are available further down the page in the Fair Full Schedule section.
- 9:45 - Opening Ceremony
- 10:00 - Uminari Taiko Opener
- 11:00 - MagiaNote (Vancouver-based International Idol Group)
- 12:00 - Furosato Dancers (Bon Odori Dance Performance)
- 1:00 - Ninjutsu, Jujutsu, and Koryu Karate (Genbukan Kongo Dojo (https://kongodojo.ca/))
- 2:00 - Rina El-Nahas and the Japanese Minyo Band
- 3:00 - Soran Dancers (students of the VJHLSS (https://vjhlss.com/))
- 3:30 - Uminari Taiko Finale

- 10:30 - Japanese Canadian History- Michael Abe
- 11:00 - Kendo (martial art of the sword) - Victoria Kendo Club
- 11:30 - Koto (plucked half-tube zither instrument) Performance - Satomi Edwards
- 12:00 - Whispers of Summer: Cultivating Shiso and Myoga - Paul Allison
- 12:30 - Shakuhachi (bamboo flute) Performance - Alcvin Ryuzen Ramos
- 1:00 - Manga and Anime: A Wild Ride Though Time - Roshan Afia (Tsukino Con)
- 1:30 - Kyudo (martial art of archery) - Brian Angene
- 2:00 - Iaido (martial art of drawing and cutting with the samurai sword)- Shoshinkai Victoria Iaido
- 2:30 - TBC
- 3:00 - Karate (martial art of the empty hand) - Masanobu Kikukawa (Kiku)

Please bring a blanket and lawn chairs to enjoy the performances
