Event Description

“Club Havana” is an event created with the purpose of showing you the music roots of Cuba.

Music from the farm, the cities, the solares, typical Cuban parties, and popular dances, will all be found at this show. This is an event to listen, watch or dance if you wish to, as it is designed to make you feel as if you were in Cuba.

Pablo Cardenas and The West Coast Cuban All Stars will be performing some of the best hits from popular Cuban music history, a history where some of the most important Latin rhythms was created, Son, Danzon, Chacha, Bolero, Mambo, Rumba, Salsa, Sucu Sucu, Changui, Pilón, Mozanbique, and much more. The amazing Cuban dancer Isabel Arias will lead a class to show you some Cuban Salsa and Cha cha steps and will perform for you.

Doors 8pm, dance class 8:15, Show 9:15, performance 10:15, Dj from 12am to 2am (playing all Latin rhythms, Salsa, Bachata, and more). Tickets $22 at doors, $17 eventbrite. March 7th, Victoria Event Centre, 1415, Broad St, Victoria, BC
