Event Description

Featuring a talk by Anne Wheeler, with a Q&A session following the screening of the classic Canadian film BYE BYE BLUES (1989, PG). Inspired by her mother's war years as a musician in a small dance band, the film features a fantastic sound track and remarkable performances including Rebecca Jenkins and Luke Reilly. The visuals from India to Alberta are stunning. This uplifting romantic story shows the resilience of the creative spirit in the face of insurmountable obstacles.
