Saturday, March 1st I.M.U. presents NINJA SPY w/ FOR NO ONE & BULLETS OVER BEAUTY @ The Bourbon, 50 West Cordova . Doors 7pm . Show 8-11pm sharp / $10 Advance

NINJA SPY's original contagious and emotive "Skankore" hybrid of Hardcore mixed with Funk/Ska/Reggae is created by three brothers in constant battle with the Triad of MI (Monotony / Indifference, Malice / Intolerance & Materialism / Ignorance). Their music traverses extremes and draws from genres including post hardcore, ska, grunge and reggae. Infusing funk and groove with heart-pounding double-kick and guttural screams, this "Triad in Blood" draws the attention of musicians and music listeners alike.

BULLETS OVER BEAUTY - This power-house dark alt-rock combo is a combustible combination of modern rhythm-driven blues and rock influences formed by Steffyn (Painted Self, Dead by Sunset) with Jay (CrankRiot, One Step Trip), Adam (An Oracle, One Step Trip) and Glenn (A Murder of Crows, Cradle to Grave). Steffyn and Jay kick-started the band after Steffyn's arduous 3 year battle with cancer left him craving to play again, so now he brings his emotive vocal stylings together with a powerful dual guitar sound that creates the strong musical experience that is Bullets Over Beauty.
